Yarn Projects
This vest has been in my iBooks since February. But like I said before I keep buying knit stuff, whether it is yarn or patterns and just stashing them- not because I am lazy, but rather because I am busy. Well things are starting to slow down… Thank God! And although it is still 90 degrees here, cooler weather is just around the corner. I know it, I can feel it, and when the weather gets cooler, I want to be wearing this vest.
So let me tell you a little bit about this piece. The vest pattern is called georgia, designed by Cecily Growlek MacDonald. It is found at Quince&Co. The yarn is called Tern by Quince&Co. Tern is a Wool and Silk blend, categorized as a fingering weight.
When I first came across this vest, my eye was drawn. I love the simplicity of this piece. I love the clean lines, the button detail, and the modern collar. I think this vest will be a versatile piece that will be easy to wear with anything.
