Lets talk about color…
If you have been following my blog, you may know that I am an artist, knitter, hairstylist who has a passion for color and texture.
ART: When it comes to me creating art, I actually prefer to work in the medium charcoal, so a lot of my personal art work is in black and white.
Knitting: When it comes to knitting I only work with high quality natural fibers. I sometimes enjoy to have natural, undyed, untreated yarn that is the color of the actual sheep. But other times hand dyed colorful yarn is way to beautiful to pass over. However, it all depends on the quality of the yarn and the project I am knitting.
Hair: When it comes to hair, I can appreciate some virgin hair, and sometimes I wish my own hair was uncolored. But then I see photos like the one above and I am reminded of how much I do truly love color.
Pastel Hair Color is super trendy right now. For the last two years the fall hair color trend was true red or copper red. But this fall Cooler tones are really big. Now when I say cooler tones I’m talking about gray and steel like tones. Keep in mind this trend does not look good with a tan. This is for pale fair skin.
If your skin is ready for it, and craves cooler tones try adding lavender to your blonde. If cool tones just don’t work for your skin, try adding peach to your blonde for an orange creamsicle look. If you can pull off both cool tones and warm tones try pastel pink. If you are scared to try this trend on your whole head, try peak-a-boo streaks, or dip dye the ends.
Tip: Are you unsure if you look better in cool tones or warm? If so… What kind of jewelry do you wear? Silver or Gold? If you wear more silver then you are a cool toned girl. If you wear more gold then you are a warm toned girl.
Isn’t the hair above just fabulous!
